Afraid

I looked around, I was afraid to go to that school, I wasn't ready. What if I get there and everyone doesn't like me, I don't think I can handle that. I was skiddish around people as it is. I know that I shouldn't be at a club but the lights and loud music got me away from my thought... well not that much but close to it. I stood in the middle of the dance floor looking around, I was hungry so I would pick now before I had to leave.

I entered the club glad to have some time to relax and forget about the school for a while, stuffing my ears with small bits of cotton wool I headed out into the main section making my way towards the bar, wincing slightly everytime a light hit my eyes.

I smiled inhaling all the scents, sweat, anger, love lust. They were all here and mixed together they had one of the most erotic aromas. I started to dance with one of the kids clostest to me but I had to stop because he was getting a little too grab hands for me.

I found a free chair at the bar and sat down ordering a double straight up and a rum on the rocks and sat back watching all the people dancing.

I noticed an angel from the school walk in and I smiled to myself, thinking about going over and asking her for ID.
