I walked into the clearing and stretched out on the ground, using my forearms to prop me up

"ok, i'll be keeping in with what Sam has been teaching you so I'll start it off with controling your bloodlust." I said and drew out a knife, "as you know a vampire's senses are extremely high so, tell me what this scent makes you feel?" I asked and cut deep into my palm, tensing my muscles to make the blood flow out of the wound.

i sniffed the air and felt a chill go down my spine but it wasnt a chill of fear or disgust it was a chill of pleasure

i didnt feel a thing because im not a vampire
